Quote Of The Day
"As the sailor locates his position on the sea by "shooting" the sun, so we may get our moral bearings by looking at God. We must begin with God. We are right when, and only when, we stand in a right position relative to God, and we are wrong so far and so long as we stand in any other position." - A.W. Tozer

Onanite,
That is very interesting that you say that. I have struggled with this very thing in the past. What if God were not in the picture? What if He did not exist at all? Wouldn't mankind be able to come up with his/her own moral compass by which to abide? Then I got to thinking about that and I realized that it flies in the face of everything I believe. You see, as a believer in God, I cannot take Him out of the picture. If I do so, I have to take out the world and everything in it, including mankind and its' moral decrees.
Please respond to this, so that we can continue our conversation.
